The 1988 Honda GL1200 Aspencade was a luxuriously equipped tourer, featuring a 1200cc engine, and LCD gauges. It was known for its comfort and refined handling, thanks to its improved chassis. The Aspencade model was a variant of the GL1200, introduced in 1984, and offered a range of features and styling options.
RVR has been subject to a partial and incomplete restoration, the engine appears to have been overhauled and starts with ease, the gearbox appears good, a stainless steel exhaust has been fitted, the tyres are new but the bars need tightening and a few jobs need to be checked over before serious road use.
