The Drayton Bantam is a highly respected, specialist machine built by Jim Pickering in the Tunbridge Wells/Blyth area. It features a custom-built frame specifically designed to house a classic BSA Bantam engine, creating an ultra-lightweight, nimble machine highly sought after for Pre-65 trials events.
The frame geometry is directly inspired by the original BSA Bantam but tweaked for superior handling, stability, and ground clearance. The engine is bored out to 185cc.
This example has a Drayton frame, forks, tank, seat, exhaust and wheels. It is fitted with electronic ignition
trials gearing, uprated clutch, Dominoe controls and very good Michelin tyres.
It is a past trails winner with a previous owner and comes with a centre plug head, spare new chain, levers, fork internals, and brake shoes.
