A brass ships bell, inscribed Jean Ingelow, by John Roby Ltd., Rainhill, 21 x 20cm.
The Jean Ingelow was named after the Boston, Lincolnshire poet Jean Ingelow (1820 - 1897), built in 1950 she was a deger/hopper that work mainly on the Humber and surrounding rivers, she was still in use in the mid 1980's.
