Launched with great excitement in late 2009, Honda promised the all-new VFR1200F would be the ultimate sports tourer. Packing a brand new V4 engine the VFR was destined to replace the ever-green Pan European and provide mile-munchers with all the bike they could ever wish for that would also be loved by sporty tourers. Packing such state of the art tech as C-ABS and (later) traction control, the VFR also debuted Honda’s DCT gearbox.
VMW was declared a CAT C when only a few months old due to the estimated cost of commercial repair was more than the value of the vehicle.
It is a two owner machine with very low mileage of only some 3,200 miles, last MOT'd in 2019. Our vendor bought it in August 2019 and used it for a couple of months but he favoured other machines in his garage and he has not used it for a while. A new battery is included with the bike as are the top box and panniers.
The bike has not been used for several years, the vendor has several bikes and he found this one too heavy and he now in poor health. I believe that it was panel damage that wrote it off, the pipes are dented at the front, there is a scratch on the headlight and the odd scratch to the paintwork.
This bike has been dry stored with other bikes for several years and not used, it has a flat battery
