1971 Chevrolet C10 step side pickup, V8, 5,700cc. Registration number TNB 616J. Chassis number CE241B626206. Engine number number unknown.
Sold with the V5C and two keys.
The second generation of the C/K series trucks were marketed by General Motors in both their Chevrolet and GMC divisions from the 1967 until 1972, given the "Action Line" moniker.
For 1969, the interior underwent some component changes, adopting a foot-operated parking brake and a redesigned steering wheel; a two-spoke design (with a plastic horn button) replaced the previous three-spoke design (with a chrome horn button). On the exterior, the bonnet was redesigned with a blunter front end; Chevrolet trucks received a redesigned grille.
For the 1971 model year, the Action-Line C/K underwent a mid-cycle revision, distinguished by updated front fascias for both Chevrolet and GMC pickup trucks. Chevrolets received an eggcrate grille design. In a chassis upgrade, all light-duty C/K trucks received front disc brakes as standard equipment.
TNB was imported into the UK in 2016 and has had four owners over here. The first UK MOT was at 64,573 miles in 2016 followed by 64,704 and 64,741 miles, today it stands at 66,695 and is registered Historic so now longer requires an MOT. The owner previous to our vendor (who bought it in 2023) had the body resprayed and the pick up bed restored. The step side rear body is in good condition and the small block V8 is 350Cu which puts out 250BHP, it sounds wonderful through the two exhausts exiting either side of the rear deck. Another notable feature is the gun rack on the rear screen.
