The Torslanda was the run-out version of the 240. It was based on the 240DL - the base spec - but had go-faster stripes, BBS style alloys and a few extra black rather than chrome trim bits not found on the standard models. It was built during the period 1992 to 1993, and was available in a limited selection of colours - red, blue, silver or white only.
Many will argue that the 240 is the best Volvo ever - strong, straightforward, easy to look after, hugely roomy, very reliable and well-built.
EHX presents well for a 30 year old car that was built for comfort and its ability to carry large loads. It has extensive MOT history back to 2007 and it is current until August 2023. It was off the road between 2009 and 2018 since when it has covered some 15,000 miles.
