Jewellery is one of the specialist departments within the Fine Art saleroom with Andy Spicer having over forty years’ experience with the subject. He learnt his skills with Philips Auctioneers of Bond Street, London and then with Bonhams. Andy is particularly strong on the major design houses of Cartier, Van Cleef and Arples and Boodles, with in depth knowledge of all gemstones including the grading of diamonds. His personal favourite is antique jewellery from 13/14th century posy rings to the Georgian era.

Sandra is going through her training for Gemology Qualifications and is already very knowledgeable as well as very much enjoying the course and helping with the monthly auctions which regularly feature over 700 lots and return an average 90% selling rate.
