The 300 debuted in 2005 and was designed as a modern interpretation of the 1955 Chrysler C-300, featuring a large grille, long bonnet and low roofline that was prominent on those vehicles.
It was America’s answer to the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG. A 6.4-litre Hemi V8 with 470bhp featuring a fuel-saving mode that allows it to cruise using just four cylinders, making it 21 percent less thirsty than the previous 300C SRT8.
There’s adaptive damping with auto and sport modes, while Chrysler has eschewed trendy electric power steering for a hydraulic system. Behind the seven-spoke alloys are big ventilated discs with four-pot Brembo calipers painted silver.
CRZ originates from Country Antrim with full stamped history at 2,607, 2,979, 6,625, 8,565, 10,454, 14,513, 18,045 and 27,948. It then came to England with our deceased vendor who bought it in August 2015 at 28,000 miles. He continued to have it stamped in the book by a specialist workshop at 33,368, 41,057, 46,630, 55,523 and 62,425 miles, the last being in 2018.
