BMW has a long history of making roadsters all the way back to its roots. The BMW Z4 arrived in 2002 to replace the BMW Z3 introduced in 1995. At first, the Z4 was only available as a roadster, however, in 2006 the German producer launched the coupe version. The Z4's body dimensions were larger, and its wheelbase was longer and wider. The suspension was also upgraded to be stiffer, and the car was equipped with a sport package which firmed up the steering. The build quality of the Z series has long been celebrated and it shows in this particular example.
PFE was originally sold by Sytner of Nottingham and has a mixture of main dealer and specialist service history. In 2008 a finance report shows Sytner services up to 39,000, the MOT history shows the mileage increasing every year up to the last one in April 2021 at 115,896 miles.
Overall the car presents very well with good bodywork and paint, the burgundy leather interior complements the black exterior. Fitted with an aftermarket stereo unit, the original BMW example is with the car.
