£150 - £200
August Otto, a late 19th Century Austrian moulded ceramic clock, modelled as a small brick tower with a tiled canopy roof entwined in foliage above the dial, and a young girl wearing a lace-edged bonnet sat on a bench beneath an arched niche to the front, signed on side Aug. Otto, and stamped with numbers JM 10526 to the inside, 63 cm.
Cosmetically in good condition, showing only a 1cm chip to the base side corner.
Would benefit from a clean.
The movement is original but is not working, the winder ‘springs back’ when trying to wind it up (main spring broken?)
