An electroplated oval bacon dish, with gadrooned decoration, inscribed "Presented by the E.T.C. Mess Aden Oct 16th 1913", 32 cm across the handles, an electroplated tea urn, 33cm and a three EPBM tea service.
The Eastern Telegraph Company, (ETC), was to become the largest cable operating company in the world. The CS Colonia laid a cable from Colombo, Ceylon to Aden, a distance of 2264 nm, in 1913.
