The first generation of the TS90 was released in Japan in February 1970. It had a double cradle frame, a 90cc single-cylinder rotary valve engine that generated 10 horsepower, CCI petrol/oil mixing system, five speed gearbox and high-drawn exhaust pipe.
The TS90 was introduced to the US market in 1970, with a nickname Honcho.
