£1,400
A V6 Delta GRP speedboat, 14 foot, by Ray Wright Ltd, c.1970, with Ford V6 Essex engine. LPG conversion, not connected or tested, was restored c.2005 with new paint, new windscreen, new seats and cover, together with a trailer. Dry stored since restoration. Engine is running.
Following on from the success of the earlier Albatross, the Ray Wright Delta speedboat was designed in the 1960's with a slightly longer hull to provide more cockpit and engine space and also greater stability at speed, with high speed handling further improved on the later examples by the addition of water filled sponsons. Built initially in aluminium, they were later produced in GRP, and proved a popular and practical ski and sports boat.
