A Japanese Meiji period inlaid two tone vesta case, in the style of the Komai company of Kyoto, with chased dragon, crane and flower decoration, black enamel, indistinctly signed lower right of crane, 46 x 31mm.
A rare earth magnet will not stick to the side. The overall condition the vesta case has chips and scratches to the top rim where the lid closes, the lid has come apart a little at the seam, some loss of enamel with age related marks.
