A Peter 'Rabbitman' Heap of Wetwang English oak longcase clock, the oblong hood with half-penny style moulding and carved rabbit motif to the top, enclosing a German two-weight movement striking on three gongs, silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, adzed panels to the hood, trunk and cupboard base with wrought iron fittings on stile supports, 200cm high.
Peter Heap advises that he only made two clock cases in this style as later ones were a different design without the cupboard base.
Base of clock - Width 54cm Depth 27cm.
In good condition – showing no damage or repairs.
The clock was working perfectly when removed from the vendors home, it will need setting up once transported
