Boston Typhoon, FD272, a Mountfield 1:32 scale well modeled fibreglass, wood and white metal model, fibreglass hull with wood and metal deck and superstructure, lead ballast, Torpedo 800 electric motor, brass propeller, white metal sailors, electric lighting (untested), lift off superstructure, 1400cm.
Boston typhoon had a long and varied career. Built at Lowestoft during 1948, with the official number of FD 272 with an overall length of 137 feet.
After five years service she was sold to Norway in 1953 and renames "Rollanes". She served for a further fourteen years under this guise before eventually being scrapped in 1967.
