2016 Piaggio Vespa PX125, 125cc. Registration number DG66 BYR. Frame number ZAPM74100000020839. Engine number M741M 1018864.
The Vespa P range was launched in 1977 in Milan and became a successful model for Piaggio for almost 40 years but the end of the line was near in early 2017 as the engine would fail to meet Euro 4 compliance emission requirements. A final commemorative model called the '70th Anniversary Settantessimo' was produced as a final farewell to the most successful Vespa range of all time. It had a dark brown leather seat with beige piping and thermo bonding depicting the 70th anniversary logo. The logo is also found on the side panel and a special plaque on the toolbox door. The wheels were also supplied in a special colour for the first time.
BYR was bought new by James Cooper in September 2016, he sold it to Wayne Roberts in October 2017 and then our vendor in May 2019. It has covered some 3,343 miles before being put into stored before it first MOT was due, it comes with a limited edition luggage set.
Sold with the V5C, one key, workshop manual, warranty and owners manuals, it will need recommissioning due to lack of use.
