A rare George III silver travelling inkwell and penner etui, by John Bettridge, Birmingham 1791, of plain oval form opening to reveal a two piece pen with seal terminal and ink bottle, monogrammed IB, 6.5 x 4 x 2cm, 56gm
The body of the inkwell has a few small dents with light marks and scratches, the lid has a good tight close, the pen has small marks and scratches.
