The Le Mans 850 was introduced at the Milan motorcycle show in November 1975 and sales began in 1976. Like the 750S and the 750 S3, the Le Mans 850 was developed from the 53 hp V7 Sport model of 1971, but power was increased to 71 hp, giving a top speed of 130 mph. Compared to the T3, the Le Mans had higher-compression domed pistons, larger engine valves, and Dell'Orto 36 mm carburettors with clip-on handlebars and a bikini nose fairing.
RAK comes with MOT history back to 2008 at 61,686 miles through to it last in 2015 at 64,148, today the odometer shows 64,177 miles. During the 2009 to 2011 period there are many invoices to Nick Smalley and then in 2015 carl Harris had a major service/recommissioning undertaken at a cost of £582.65. It was then stored and our vendor bought it in 2021. It has been unused for some seven years so recommissioning will be required.
