A George IV Provincial pair of silver fiddle and shell pattern table spoons, by Edward Jackson, York 1828, crested, weight 4 oz.
Edward Jackson was apprenticed to Hampson, Prince & Cattles and indentured in 1799, he was declared bankrupt in 1824 and his entire property was put up for auction. Later he is listed as "Jeweller, goldsmith and silver plate manufacturer".
