£4,000 - £5,000
1980 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz, coupe, 5.7lt diesel. Registration number ETH 771V. Chassis number 6L57NAE641350. Engine number 641350. Sold with the V5C, copy of the USA title, MOT's from 2017 - 2020, 2 x keys, new thermostat and housing. The tenth generation Eldorado debuted in 1979, continuing to share the same platform with the Buick Riviera and Oldsmobile Toronado. Independent rear suspension was adopted for the first time, helping retain rear-seat and boot room in the smaller body. The most notable styling touch was an extreme notchback roofline. The Eldorado "Biarritz" model featured a stainless-steel roof, similar to the 1957–1958 Eldorado Brougham. The Eldorado featured frameless door glass, and rear quarter windows, similar to those from 1967 to 1970, without a thick "B" pillar. The Eldorado was sold with multiple V8 engine variants; three petrol and one diesel 5.7 option. ETH was imported from California in 2018 and sold by Oldcott Motors to Christopher Cragg. The diesel version of this vehicle returns a believed 25MPG and the car drives smoothly, starting on the first turn of the key.
