A set of four Vintage Edwardian Fairground Swingboats, painted predominantly yellow, believed to be originally from the seafront at Swanage in Dorset circa 1910. The boats are built from heavy oak.
Spicers have one boat on view in the saleroom, the remainder can be viewed at the vendors premises by appointment.
The vendor states that they used to run them at various shows and festivals in the South West until the end of 2018 so we have previous ADIPS tests for them. They are fairly easy to set up and run with two people and will take adults or children, we used to charge £2 per head for 5 minutes so with four boats you can earn £16 per 5 minute ride.
